Control panel examples are everywhere. When you search Google images for control panels you’ll find an endless supply in all shapes and sizes. What you won’t find are details showing how they were produced.
Our control panel examples are small and simple with details showing how each was produced. We picked these because our customer relationships generally start with small simple control panels. It’s a test.
- What would we do different ?
- How much ?
- How fast ?
Starting small and simple is a low cost low risk first step. If we pass their test, they give us an order. If they like the experience, our relationship grows. Starting small and simple is the smart play when considering any new relationship. It allows you to feel good about the relationship before you make the inevitable leap of faith.
Control Panel Submittal Package
We show how we’re planning to produce a control panel with an engineering submittal package. We produce one for every control panel we’re planning to produce. We submit it to our customer for review and approval prior to releasing it to production. One is included with each example and includes the following sections.
- Section A. Datasheets for Enclosures and Accessories
- Section B. Datasheets for Power and Control Devices
- Section C. Datasheets for Field Mounted Devices
- Section D. Drawings
- Section E. Bill of Material
Most of our OEM customers produce an engineering submittal package for every equipment order they’re planning to produce. They submit it to their customer for review and approval prior to releasing it to production. They include our panel submittal in their equipment submittal.
